What is the piece of leather you place over the last (between the upper and the last) on the instep? Is it similar to a build-up for a higher instep?

with heel counter, but no toe puff. That is the second step. This is called 2 phases lasting.

Yes, that is – but the good news: easier in some ways. At the moment I don’t plan to make that tutorial – I don’t make so much high heels..
