Comprehensive tutorial for the Cemented Construction

So this step by step shoemaking guide is my present for beginner shoemakers. Note: this won’t replace a master, so you can try to make a pair shoe, but you can achieve more success with proper instructions.

I put together these pictures from a video I made for students, so this is NOT the way I make shoes, but an easy to follow, handy method to make your first pair. Enjoy!

  1. Thank you for this, and very well done to whomever took the photographs.

One day I hope to be able to come and visit you in Budapest and learn from you in person!

  2. So good pictures 🙂 !!!

Btw, now I will have some free time in January, so I try to make some “shoes” (:-D some “shoes” because, it takes years to make real shoes, but..) I already find some interesting leather form Estonia also:) So for the next ones I will use ostrich leather:) ..if they forbear critic,I will send some pictures to you also:)

  4. This is an awesome tutorial as Im just getting started in bespoke, turned and soft soled shoes……I already have several shoes ready but im having a little bit of a hard time finding a soft sole that wont wear out so fast…..I think even the pictures are amazing… Thank you for sharing as not many are willing for the budding artist with only a dream to begin…. : D

  5. Thank you so much for this! I have been learning during my summer “vacation” in Barcelona with an Italian shoemaker who I met happenchance outside his shop…needless to say, between language barriers and all the info, it’s nice to have a pictorial guide for my notes already available!
Have had about 30 hours one on one time and I am really hooked on this craft!
