Shoes and Craft

A shoemaker's blog about shoemaking

The last day from your stage is always a very special – you finish your second (maybe third-fourth) pair, and if they fit – which is not the main purpose of the course, but feels good anyway – you can wear them, walking away in your special, one-of-a-kind footwear. It is a pleasure to be a master especially in that day. Somehow the happiness is spreading out from those guys and feels enough to everyone.

This is my Chinese-Singaporian student in her last day in the workshop, being happy with her brand new suede boot – made by all herself.

Same. Happiness starts – fit is perfect.
